to a new location for our next MicroBrew for Microloans get-together: The Beach House in Cardiff, CA.

Please note: They have valet parking at the Beach House that costs a few dollars. If you don’t mind walking, there is sometimes free parking along the 101 along the beach a bit south of the restaurant.
Also, don’t forget: One of our biggest fundraisers of the year is coming up – The Encinitas Wine Festival. When you buy tickets, please remember to select Microloans for Mothers as the beneficiary of your donation.

Yes, you read that correctly – The next Microbrew For Microloans Happy Hour will be on a Thursday. You can start your weekend early and help a great cause at the Lumberyard Tavern & Grill in downtown Encinitas.
We’ll be making the Lumberyard Tavern our home from 5:30 – 7:00 PM during their prime Happy Hour Specials time.
We invite you to come hither, to 967 South Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, CA, at the southern end of the Lumberyard Center. If lost, you can call them at (760) 479-1657.
New Location! New Day of the Week! Whoa!
New Location Tonight for MicroBrews For Microloans
The Elks Lodge is unavailable tonight, so we’ll be meeting at the Beachside Bar & Grill, 806 S. Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, CA. Phone: 760.942.0738
We’ll be starting at 5:30 PM. Happy hour runs until 6 PM, so try to get there before then. We expect to have a sign on our table, to make it easier to find us. If it’s nice out we may be outside in the back, otherwise look for us toward the front entrance.
Our intention going forward is to visit a different location each month where they serve MicroBrews. This way, anyone who isn’t interested in going to the Elks Lodge or can’t get to Encinitas, will have the opportunity to join us, as we meet in places around the county. There also should be food at most of these places too.
So come tonight and help with selecting where we’ll be going over the coming months. We’ll publish a calendar once the list is put together.

Kick off the New Year with us at the First Microbrew for Microloans event of 2012!
The first monthly Microbrew for Microloans get-together will be on Tuesday January 3, 2012. We’ve changed the time to 5:30 PM to help anyone getting out of work to come over without feeling like you are late.
This is a free event where we receive a portion of beer sales toward our cause.
We’ll be talking about what’s new with the program since last month, and would love some input and discussion about plans and thoughts for this year.

Next First Tuesday Happy Hour is November 1st!
Microbrew For Microloans had a great kickoff on October 4th, and we're looking forward to the next one on November 1st. The First Tuesday Happy Hour occurs at the Encinitas Elks Lodge, where a chosen Microbrew is sold for $5 per pint, and our Microloans For Mothers Program receives $3 in donation.
At the upcoming Happy Hour, we'll be treated with a LIVE SKYPE SESSION with Executive Director Niels Lund, who will be in Cambodia at that time, working with our in-country staff and supporters.

A Monthly Event to Put on Your Schedule
On the first Tuesday of every month from 5-7 PM, come support our Microloans for Mothers program by enjoying a MicroBrew from a local San Diego Brewery. It’s great fun and supports a great cause!
Be sure to attend the Benefit Concert that will feature Microbrews that is occuring October 15th, and then attend the next Happy Hour on November 1st!
